Basis and purpose of processing

We process your personal data on the following grounds and for the following purposes:

• Legitimate interest: To ensure the technical functionality and data security of the website.
• Consent: To maintain a waitlist, send newsletters and marketing messages, and analyse website usage to target advertising.

Information we collect

• Waitlist form: Email address.
• Technical information and cookies: IP address, browser type, device information, and behavioural information related to website browsing (collected using cookies and tracking technologies). Data sharing and disclosure

Your data are only processed by reliable partners who are essential for the provision of the service:

• Site maintenance and infrastructure: The site and its database are located on a virtual server (VPS) in Finland, provided by a domestic company, Zoner Oy.
• Email marketing: The email addresses collected on the waitlist are transferred and stored in the Brevo service to enable us to send newsletters and announcements.
• Advertising measurement and targeting: We use Meta tracking tools (such as Meta Pixel) to measure the effectiveness of advertising and to target advertisements on Meta platforms (such as Facebook and Instagram). Consent is always requested for this on a cookie banner.
• Site analytics: We use the Matomo analytics software to statistically monitor the number of visitors to the site and how they use it. The software and related databases are hosted on our virtual server. Consent is always requested for this on a cookie banner.

Data retention

• Email addresses on the waitlist are stored until the site opens or until the user requests that their data are deleted. Each email sent via Brevo contains an unsubscribe link.
• Server technical log data (such as IP addresses) are automatically deleted according to log rotation based on system size limits. Based on the current volume of site traffic, we estimate that log data will be retained for approximately 3 months, after which they are permanently deleted, as the system overwrites old data.

Data subject rights

According to the GDPR, you have the right to check any data concerning yourself, to request the correction or deletion of incorrect data, to withdraw your consent at any time and to file a complaint with the Data Protection Commissioner.
